West Milford, NJ
This unique, log cabin style home was one of our very first projects under the HUD Dollar Homes program. The home sits on a hill, looking down over one of many lakes in the town of West Milford. Renovations of this property included installing a new roof and windows; replacing the existing heating system with an energy-efficient forced air heating system with contrail air conditioning; painting the exterior and parts of the interior (many natural wood surfaces were preserved); and a septic and well test. After this house was completed, another Dollar Homes property became available through HUD. The town of West Milford was happy to participate in another project in their community.
