Delanco Mews Affordable Rental Housing

 

Available Openings:  We are CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS to fill an opening for one moderate-income rental.  See rental details for minimum income requirements and income limits.  The preliminary application is available here.

 

Selection Process:  Preliminary Application deadline is August 23, 2008 at 2:00 p.m.  All applications will be reviewed for preliminary eligibility based on income and family size.  Preliminary approval will include verification of all income sources; verification of family size; and verification of valid Section 8 Certificate, if applicable.  All applicants preliminarily approved for eligibility will be notified by mail.  Final qualified applicants will be selected by lottery and placed on a priority list. The top candidates will be invited to submit a complete application, including the $30.00 fee for the credit report and tenancy report.  Every finalist must have a minimum FICO credit score of 525 and had no evictions within the past five years to be considered as qualified.  Suitable landlord reference indicating a satisfactory experience with the applicant as a tenant will be necessary and will be considered as qualifying the applicant for tenancy.

 

Property Description:  The property is located at 234 Rancocas Avenue, Delanco, NJ.  Directions available in the attached package.  The property will rent for $941 per month, plus tenant-paid utilities estimated at $175 per month.

                  One three-bedroom home. 

 

Income and family size restrictions apply.

 

The minimum income necessary to qualify for a moderate income unit is $44,640.  Persons holding a valid Section  8 certificate are not subject to the minimum income requirements.

 

The maximum income permitted to qualify for the housing units is (based on family size):

 

                             3 persons        4 persons        5 persons

 

Moderate Income:  $53,496           $59,440           $61,818

 

 

Final Selections:  All applicants will be notified by mail whether or not they meet the preliminary criteria to be considered as qualified.  Those qualified applicants who are invited to submit a final application will be notified by mail of their standing and the final selection.
