The State of New Jersey is committing millions of dollars to help make housing safer and healthier. The State DCA Commissioner Jacqueline A. Suarez announced on June 7, 2024 that The Salt and Light Company, Inc. was awarded $2 million to address lead-based paint remediation and abatement in south Jersey.
If you are at or below the published income limits we will be able to test your home for free and if there are areas that need to be addressed to reduce or eliminate the lead paint danger, those services will also be at not cost to you.
The State will be advertising these services widely so you may see an advertisement announcing the launching of this program. Also watch our website for more information as this program details are made known.
